I'd love to see some Nilgai at Chester most defiently, you should see the amout of emails/letters i've sent regarding sending nilgai to the zoo.
Also, aren't the roan antelope beautifull in the lechwe's old enclosure.

Well i have to say you have surprised me with that one, nilgai are a beautiful looking antelope increasingly uncommon now in the UK, were there nilgai on the Asian plains enclosure long before the Indian rhino?
Roan antelope are a handsome looking species, very striking, i hope the zoo can build up a decent sized herd.

Hello and welcome to the forums, looking forward to seeing your posts in the future

Nilgai were kept in the Asian plains enclosure, and before that in one of the enclosures in front of the original rhino house.

Sorry ChesterGemsbok, but I don't think you'll see Nilgai at Chester again. I hope I'm wrong though, they are lovely animals. And Welcome to ZooChat.
