Hi! My name is Nicole and I'm from Columbus, Ohio, where I've volunteered at the zoo for the past five years. I love it there--the staff is great, the exhibits are amazing, and the animals have helped me learn so much! I plan to be a zoologist/wildlife biologist, but I do want to eventually start my own zoo as well. It'll be many years until that happens, but I've been around zoos my whole life in a range of positions (customer service, children's camps, public education, animal interaction, animal caretaker, diet maker, etc) and I think I could make it happen. Anyway, right now I keep reptiles, and while they're my primary interest, I do love all animals!
