Horse Racing

Hey there everyone.

I've always found horse racing a very interesting sport, as to see the potential and money input into seeing these great animals race. The Two favourite games I love to play in an arcade are DDR and Final Furlong.
I was just wondering what some members outlooks were on particular horses and races
Some of the most pretigous races I know of are:

Dubai world cup
Melbourne cup
Caulfield cup
Prix De lar'c Triomphe
Hong Kong Cup
Irish Derby
Singapore Airlines International cup
Epsom Derby
Breeder's Cup Classic
Kentucky Derby
Belmont Stakes
Preakness Stakes
Arima Kinen
Tenno sho
Kikuka Sho
Toyko Yushun
Satsuki Sho

If any others please add.

Dragon, weren't you against circusses as they were wrong in exploiting animals for our entertainment? Just saying...

True yes, I'm a hypocrit in that sense. And you bring up a good point.

Horse racing has taken a different spell on me but I'm not quite sure what it is. Yes it is exploitation, but I guess it has grown from ( like elephant poorams) culture.

I am against the whip. I can tell you that....

But.......... I don't know exactly why I find horse racing and elephant processions ok but circuses not.

A Vague reason is that the facilites provided to the animals are much better than circuses.

:confused::confused:

I actually got really interested in horses recently and hope to tune in to NBC on the first Saturday of May.

Oh, and you forgot the Ascot Gold Cup
