how many wildcamels in captivity

does anyone know how many wildcamels are in captivity and in witch zoo? is there still one in beijing zoo?

I imagine most of the Aussie Zoos would have taken their camels from the Australian Feral Stock, which are Wild... ISIS lists 12... But I know there are way more than that, in the un-registered zoos... This is if you're talking about Dromedarys, rather than Bactrians...

No, i'm talking about the wild bactrian camel witch is a endangered species, lives in the desert of china and mongolia.

The only place is probably a small foundation in Mongolia, which keeps and breeds about a dozen wild Bactrian camels. There are no plans to move them to any zoo or abroad.

This small initiative apparently needs funds and interest, so might be a good target for support of some zoo!
