Is there anyway exotic species that may have been lost recently or long ago be brought back into Aussie zoos, or even species which have never been in the country but are common in other countries? Animals like small wildcats, primates, canines, ungulates and most exotic bird species. How would zoos go about trying to get a species not already in zoos into Australia? I'd just like some answers or some attempts that may have been may even if they were unsuccessful, and if so why?
