Zoochat has been my first experience (albeit via internet) with regular casual and friendly contact with people from New Zealand, Australia, the UK and several other places. Other than of course a few random encounters at college.
Though being an American, specifically a Southerner I am self aware that we all view each other differently and that where I am from may have a negative connotation with some people. I've seen threads like this on other forums go over really well.
So I thought it would be good to have a central place on Zoochat to talk about how we view each others cultures in order to just get beyond stereotypes. So I thought a good way to start would to put myself out there, what views do others in the Anglosphere (UK AUS NZ etc) have concerning the Southern United States.
