I know that there is a thread about how Sandy affected zoos, but I am not sure if there was a thread for the humans.

Were you affected? Is there still a lot of snow and flooding where you live? Did you lose power? Are you and your loved ones ok?

I haven't been directly effected, but the New York birders have been getting all kinds of crazy ****. Even a Ross's gull! A beacon of light in this tragedy.
 
We didn't lose power but the lights did flicker on and off a bit. Nothing too bad happened but some of our shingles fell off. Halloween wasn't canceled in my town as many people believed it would be. So yeah, we're basically all good. Unfortunately, my mom's friend is experiencing a great tragedy right now.
