I have some questions,
Where do most zoos get there stock from ?
I know some of them get them from private hands so to say where would you go to start to look.
Anyone got any lists they can share with me ?

I am just intrested.

There is a thread around here somewhere that discussed this but I cannot find it but will post the link if I can.
 
Thanks for that, though has any got a website or a list of animals in exchange at zoos in the UK or EU ??
Or can get hold of one for me ?

Say i was a zoo or private keeper and i wanted to know what was up for sale/ trade.

Well to get hold of the BIAZA or EAZA surplus list you need to be a member of the said organizations,as for private sales try looking in Cage and Aviary they have a for sale section in it which sometimes lists mammals for sale.Also there are website which have species for sale from private breeders or dealers sorry but i cannot help you with any website addresses for them.
