Hello everyone,
I live near Montgomery,AL where I have the greatest zoo! It's always clean and a delight to go to. I've taken my girls there since they were babies and now they are 12 and 8. Getting a Zoo Membership has been a real plus throughout the years and pays for itself after a few trips there.
Come visit the Montgomery Zoo someday when you're in Alabama.
Bring your walking shoes though!

I only made it to the Montgomery Zoo once while I lived in Atlanta, but I agree it was very nice. I especially liked the way the zoo is laid out with a view of many of the animals from the cafe in the middle.

Have you made it to any of the nearby zoos? Birmingham, Atlanta, and Albany (Chehaw) are close enough for day trips, and Jackson, MS might be close enough if your kids handle road trips well.
