I visited a week ago, and I didn't see them. Are you sure they are still there? I know where you are talking about, but I can't find any recent photos of them.

I didn't see the Japanese green woodpecker or the Japanese pygmy woodpecker in November 2022. However, I was told Inokashira Park itself is a good birding spot to see wild woodpeckers.

I visited this zoo a little over 1 month ago and I didn't see any woodpeckers...

I asked a keeper if they were on display, and sadly, both the pygmy and green woodpeckers were not on display. The Kestral was also replaced by a Peregrine Falcon.

What a shame about the bird collection! Do you know why the bird collection has been so reduced?
