Issue with Postings tab in profile

In the last day or two an issue has started occuring on my profile page. When I click on the Postings tab I don't see any of my posts, only text that says "This member does not have any content." This happens whether I am logged in or not. I found that the only workaround is to go to the Information tab and click "View all Content".

I've never had this issue before. Has it ever happened to other members and can it be fixed?

I believe that would be a quirk of the way the forum software selects posts to display in the Postings tab.

Looking at your posting tab myself, I can see there are a bunch of threads related to content you've reported - which you can't see, but moderators can.

So the system is probably just selecting your 8 most recent posts, then filtering out the posts you can't see - which up until you posted this thread, was all of them - hence why it says you don't have any content.

It's a poorly designed system - the general pattern software developers should use when filtering out information is to start by selecting significantly more content than you'll need, with the hope that after filtering, you still have sufficient numbers to display everything.

In any case, it will resolve itself in due course as you continue posting content that you can see yourself.
