Earlier this month, I visited the Izu Shaboten Zoo.
The zoo is pretty big. It's made up of multiple buildings, enclosures, and many pens. There were some animals, such as the Common Squirrel Monkey and Indian Peafowl, that were freely roaming around the zoo.
The first enclosure I saw was right in front of the entrance. It's a netted area where people can walk in and see the animals without anything in between. It's filled with birds. These are some shots I got there:
Further along, there is an enclosure for nocturnal animals.
And then finally, a Red Panda house, where you can see three Red Pandas.
It was a short visit, and I didn't have a ton of time. It was an amazing zoo though, so I'd definitely visit again.
