Edinburgh Zoo January 2011 - Highs and lows

Chandra the current female will have to move collection first and I have no idea when that may happen, I've seen her at the zoo for nearly two years now and would have thought her time to move would have happened by now.

Any ideas or thoughts no that one....hrm wait I shall ask tonight at the Zoo Review!

Well, Have managed to find out that Chandra was meant to go in December, but the heavy snow stopped that move happening, and in that time she has managed to shatter a tooth, so now that has been repaired they are waiting for it to settle before rescheduling the move.

As for the Jaguar, was not able to find out where he maybe going, but I do know he will have a new mate by the end of summer, although they maybe a bit too young at first as this ones living with their mother still.

The Amur Leopards should be moving to HWP at some stage, but for now they have the goahead for breeding so they will let them have their ways.

I can only guess the Jaguars would go into the small cat enclosures, the Tigers into the big cat enclosure and what is holding this up now is the Amur move.

I meant to mention last night, But Leishan the Pigmy Hippo is set to leave soon for pastures new, she happens to be moving to Spain and is currently being crate trained so they can move her.
