The zoo has received internet attention after a visitor was grabbed by an orangutan after he was standing close to the exhibit, as an attempt to interact with it for a content.

People need to realize that most zoo animals aren't meant to be interacted with. It's infuriating to see that some Indonesian visitors treat zoo animals as domestic animals, something to interact with freely. It's worse because he's willing to risk himself and the orangutan for internet views. It also the zoo's fault that this occurred, as they seems to not have a tight security (Not to mention that the orangutan exhibit is not good). I also, as always, blamed "animal loving" influencers for promoting unrestricted zoo animal interactions and treat them like some house pet, which inspired people to follow them and interact with these animals without knowing the risk and the zoo's permission. I'm glad that the orangutan is fine after this.
