I doubt that poison would ever stop poachers, because there are still going to be plenty of buyers out there, even if some die. Also, whoever started the scheme would probably get imprisoned for murder anyhow

The horn doesn't contain any blood vessels, so there would be no way for the cyanide to enter the rhino's system - only that of the consumer. And Ed Hern, at least, is apparently quite willing for this to kill some of them.
I was talking yesterday to a lady who met Mr Hern not long after a tiger killed an indigenous African. Apparently Mr Hern does not place much value on [some] human life.
Is this a man who's views you are taking seriously?
