Chester Zoo Komodo Dragons From A to B

Hi all, I visited Chester Zoo back in March and was fascinated by an article I read in the monthly magazine about the difficulties of capturing and then transporting Komodo Dragons in Indonesia as part of the Komodo Survival Program. I am currently researching a dissertation project at University concerning the transportation of exotic animals and how the design of the equipment used could be improved to make the transportation process easier and safer for the keeper, as well as improving the physical and emotional experience for the animal.
I was wondering if anyone here has any methods of contacting the Herpetology team at Chester Zoo to discuss the article further, and answer a few questions which would greatly help my research (: I would be very appreciative, and excited to gain some first hand insights into the problem at hand.

Unfortunately, I can´t help you with contacting Chester Zoo staff, but have you considered contacting Prague Zoo too? They are arguably the best non-Asian zoo in Komodo dragons breeding. Actually the chseter ones hatched in Prague. Prague sent 17 youngsters to USA too, so i think they can help you too.

Your first port of call at Chester Zoo would probably be Penny Rudd who is head of the animal movements for the zoo. She's a busy lady but worth a try I'd say.
