Glad to see new species like Three-Banded Armadillo and Blue-Tonged Skink added to the collection! There was a row of glass parrot cages with Moulccan Cockatoo, Black-Headed Parrot, Yellow-Headed Amazon, and Moulccan Cockatoo for many years in the Grigg's Learning Center, were those gone when you visited

I did not see any of those parrot species you mentioned, and did not even see any exhibit that looked like they could have kept them. There were a bunch of dismantled exhibits, so I would say they are probably gone.

That's excellent news! those Parrot cages were definitely the worst part of the zoo, so it is a relief to know that most of them are gone! How did you think of the Lake Superior Zoo by the way?

I really enjoyed the primate/nocturnal building (which I will probably discuss on a different thread in the future), but other than that the zoo was very average. Certainly a pleasant little zoo but nothing really worth going out of your way to see. The rarities were really nice, though.
