Last Chance to See - BBC TV

Good-looking new series on BBC next month, featuring amongst others aye-ayes and kakapos. I don't know if Pertinax was involved in the filming of the latter this time though!

Definately not!

Any news about whether Richard Henry's AI was successful or not?

Thanks, just thought I'd point out there's already a thread for this in the Zoo and Wildlife Documentaries forum: http://www.zoochat.com/183/last-chance-see-25955/

According to the BBC mini-site, the series will be broadcast in the autumn. Where did you read/hear it would go out next month? That seems unlikely to me because they only wrapped the filming two weeks ago!

Sorry my mistake, it clearly says Autumn 2009 but I thought I'd read May for some reason.

There is a new BBC series on the South Pacific next month which will feature kakapos amongst many others . Looks interesting .

BBC natural history dept, producer of the greatest wildlife documentaries ever seen, hopefully another classic to see.
There can't be many areas of the world they have not covered.
