Liberty Science Center is a 300,000-square-foot museum located in Jersey City, New Jersey. Animals at the facility include cotton-top tamarin, naked mole rat, green-winged macaw, red-footed tortoise, frilled lizard, timber rattlesnake, summer flounder, striped burrfish, and Madagascar hissing cockroach, among others.
On July 6th, 2025, the center announced that a crested gecko hatched via parthenogenesis.

On November 18th, the center announced a new $40M masterplan called Project Supernova, which will include a new outdoor exhibit for North American river otters and domestic goats, as well as the expansion of the Wild About Animals gallery (among other various additions including an 18-hole mini-golf course, reorganization of different exhibitions, and a 9/11 memorial garden). Construction will start sometime in spring 2026, with the center already receiving up to $39.8M from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
