Bow Habitat Station Discovery Centre List of Species On Exhibit 8/30/17

This is an attempt to list every species on exhibit at Bow Habitat Station Discovery Centre during my visit on 8-30-17. I am including species for which there is a sign on each exhibit. I am not including the various extensive tanks of the adjoining Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery which are viewed from windows in the Discovery Centre and primarily raise millions of Rainbow Trout for release into the Alberta province's waters.

LOBBY LEVEL: (1 Exhibit)

1 small-sized wall tank:

SUMMARY:
By my count, the total number of exhibits currently at Bow Habitat Station Discovery Centre is: 12
By my count, the total number of species in permanent exhibits with identification signs is: 21
The number of species I counted can be broken down into the following categories:
Mammals: 0
Birds: 0
Reptiles: 0
Amphibians: 0
Fish: 21
Invertebrates: 0
 
Thanks for the many photos in the gallery and the species list. Would you count the facility as an aquarium?
 
Yes I'm counting this as an aquarium, it was enjoyable but obviously very limited so it ranks low in my list. It was fun to take the tour of the adjoining fish hatchery and feed a tank of over 3000 rainbow trout too!
 
I think I should mention that the photos embedded from the gallery in this thread are not the only ones I took; there are more I added to the aquarium's gallery.
 
I visited Toronto in 2008, but did not make a species list back then. I would have fun doing so if I make it back!
Haha! I love the Toronto Zoo... it’s probably one of my all time favourite zoos! I would love to see your list if you ever manage to do it...
