During my visit to Safaripark Beekse Bergen - the Netherlands - yesterday, I saw 2 beautifull Little Yellow-headed vultures ( Cathartes burrovianus ).
A quick look at Zootierliste learned me that this species is quite rare in European zoos. Only 4 German, 1 Belgium, 1 France, 1 Spanish and 1 Dutch collections keeps them ! From these only 2 have bred them succesfully - Tierpark Berlin and Vogelpark Walsrode.
I was wondering if the species is kept more commonly elswhere and if breeding is more commonly as it is in Europe.
