There has been very little news of late, however, it seems that there are plans to bring in some new species of penguin, one of which is very exciting. The Puffins are not breeding as often but the keepers are doing everything they can including supplementing their diet and changing the nest box dimensions. The Pigeon Guillemots have died out. The common Guillemots are breeding extremely well but their numbers will be reduced before new species arrive.

Going to leave us hanging on that one? :p one species particularly jumps out as a potentially exciting arrival..... if they have worked out a way to stop history repeating itself.

Yep, this happened a few years ago now! A rather sad loss, but it couldn't be helped. They are down to only two Red-legged Kittiwake too.
 
They used to keep Gentoo as well - but they failed to adapt to the climate, so the survivors went to Edinburgh in exchange for the Macaroni's
