How come said species are no longer in the collection given that its opening has been fairly recent? I would say dhole and argali especially are fairly iconic species worthy of exhibiting in this Heilongjiang Province western zoo. The big city of Qiqihar is on the border with the huge Inner Mongolia Province, so one would expect at least argali, Siberian ibex, Mongolian wild ass, Przewalski's horse and various gazelle (Mongolian, Tibetan...).

The above listing by @Raikou seems fairly conventional.

It isn't a newly built zoo, actually. Longsha zoological and botanical garden used to be a part of Longsha park, which can date back to early 19th century. After the establishment of PRC,this park has been rebuilt and added in some area to kept animals and opened to public, which called "zoo in park". This form of zoo is quite common in 1950s to 1990s among China.

Well my remarks were in reference to the zoo design feature.

There are not many native animal resources in Chinese zoos anymore. And the animal species displayed in Chinese zoos are already very homogenized, which is irreversible.
