Hi I have just joined this forum. as much as I love animals and enjoy spending time at my local zoos. I have been to both the Melbourne and Werribee Open Range Zoos; with my grand children and greatly enjoyed not only the experience for myself but watching the children ooh and aah at the animals and exhibits.
this is my conumdrum; I wish to take my youngest grand-daughter, who is 2, to a petting zoo or some where in which she could interact with some of the animals. I remember taking my own children to the Taronga Zoo years ago and we were able to go into a section where they were able to pat and feed some of the younger and smaller animals. Is there any where within the greater Melbourne area that offers this type of activity.
