Hi Guys,
I've been away for some time, so hello again.

What is the dynamic with the pride these days; the last time I visited the 3 castrated males were with the Pride and Kasanga was still in isolation.

Is that still the case; if so what is the plan??

Cheers,

STA

As far as I am aware that is still the situation.

Kasanga is being tried with one female at a time while they are in season, but not with the three castrated lads as far as I know. I doubt it will work but I suppose it is worth a try. They may be castrated but Bala, Ace and Flint are still huge and will not take kindly to an unknown male.

It will be worth a go I suppose at the end of the day they have the isolation unit in which to split the pride.

I wonder if they will go down the Longleat route and have two prides; one non breeding, with the three chaps and perhaps some more older females and a new breeding pride headed by Kasanga?
Them as nature takes its course the prides could be integrated again when the 3 boys shuffle off too the big savanna in the sky?
