Hey guys, I was wondering if you can know most if not all of the taxidermed species of mammals at the Kenneth E. Behring Hall of Mammals at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC.
I don't remember all of them but I do know they have the following species:
Bengal Tiger
Bongo
Bush Dog (The only museum I can think of that has this)
Capybara
Dama Gazelle
Giant Anteater
Giant Panda
Gray Wolf
Grizzly Bear
Giraffe
Grevys Zebra
Hippopotamus
Jaguar (a black one)
Koala
Lion
Maned Wolf
Moose
Okapi
Orangutan
Polar Bear
Sable Antelope
Scimitar Horned Oryx
Striped Hyena
Thylacine (Now extinct; I believe this is the only museum in the USA that has one)
Walrus
Waterbuck
West Indian Manatee (with calf)
Western Lowland Gorilla
White Rhinoceros (Shot by Theodore Roosevelt in 1909)
Wild Boar
Do you know all of the mammals that are at that exhibit? Can you please make a list of them all?
Note: This only includes the mammals in the Kenneth E. Behring Hall of Mammals. The African elephant in the Rotunda does not count.
