I find it very hard to believe that a wombat would 'take revenge' after the trauma of having its habitat destroyed!
I can't see a wombat attacking so violently un-provoked!
Who's Archie?
The Killer Wombat of Darling Downs Zoo?
(Flee for your lives!)
Possibly the world's only carnivorous wombat.
ZYBen hasn't had a problem [yet] because his legs are too skinny for Archie's old eyes to see!
HAHAHOne day I'll put on weight, assuming thats what the yet was

What sort of a daft statement is that, Steve?
Almost every wombat I've ever met has had a carnivorous streak (or gave that impression at least). Even handreared babies always seem to develop a taste for ankle-flesh at about 11 months of age and it becomes an absolute obsession - it appears their only goal in life is to amputate as many human feet as possible!

From my experience (although not personal) wombats have a habit of leaping up to bite at about crotch height...
Usually these are the ones that have resulted from hybridisation with macropods.
Sounds like its been a big easter![]()
