What's April Fools day?

Then I guess you don’t. It's just a day when traditionally you try to fool people, there is always something in the British press that’s made up on April 1st. I thought this attack might have been made up by the reporter, especially having read the guys response, “I thought I was a goner” it sounds like a bit of an overreaction, though I admit I’ve never faced a fierce wombat.

never heard of this "April fool's day". Sounds like a silly tradition. Glad we don't have it over our side of the world.

April Fool's Day? What an absurd concept. Must cause havoc.

Is an April Fool like the Village Idiot?

The news report said this happened on Tuesday the 6th. And having wrestled a few wombats in my day, I think that an adult - weighing between 30 and 40 kgs - attacking an elderly man would be a frightening experience. Especially as the guy said he was knocked over first.

Now who's being daft? Suggesting that a 60 year old is ELDERLY! Ara, I need help here against this whippersnipper Hix.

Steve Old-Fogeyinson,

the term is young whipper-snapper.

A whippersnipper is a device for trimming lawns.

I don't know, old people these days .....

:p :p :p :p :p

A bit of respect, please, for seniority, wisdom and life experience!!

As a couple of Alpha males, Steve, I suppose we must expect challenges from the young blokes keen to reach silverback status too.

And you're quite right to refer to them as whippersnippers, also!
Why whippersnippers? Because when it comes to working it's hard to get them started.:p
