Yet another Marmoset baby has been born at the DDZ, they are doing well with them :), also a few other births there in resent days

what has been breeding there lately?? thanks

Lately ???????...........Shingleback, Llama, B&G Macaw, Rhesus Macaque, Red-tail Black Cockatoo [today!], Musk Lorikeet, Sun Conure, Rainbow Lorikeet, Red Kangaroo, Eclectus Parrot.

hold onto macaques steve.... they are so out of vogue you may one day end up being the only zoo with em!

and we will all be flocking to DDZ to see them!

i can hear some of the younger members say,

"soo like whoa thats what a macaque looks like"

:P

nah - its just that when i'm rich for inventing the next ninja turtles-type phenomenon, i'll be wanting rhesus macaques for my open range zoo. ;)

i tell ya what - i could put those disney imagineers to shame.

Ever seen em at Longleat in England? Open range all right but huddled up to keep warm or jumping on car bonnets to get the warmth from the engine. We're so lucky [climate-wise] in this country.

Can you pop one of those macaws in a postpack, thanks!

no haven't been there steve... hearing that doesn't much make me wanna either!

how many rhesus do you have? do you know their origins?

I am looking forwards to hear any news about the proposed Amphibian breeding centre, I really hope this go's ahead, Go the Frogs!
