Meerkats wihout underground netting

Does anyone know of an exhibit for meerkats that doensn't have a concrete base or is completely covered in wire mesh under the earth or sand? I imagine a sunken fence with an inward incline to a depth of 1,5 meters should be enough in a large enclosure, but I have yet to find an example of one.

I know Newquay (UK) used to keep them in a paddock with pocupines, zebra and lechwe(?) but I was too young to notice the containment barriers. And I think it was discontinued due to fear of the hoofstock falling in to the burrows, so there must have been something stopping them under the soil. Sorry for the lack of useful info but it's the only example I can recall seeing.

Well it’s not something you’d actually see as a normal visitor. In a large enclosure I think it would be unlikely the entire area would be covered under ground. Which are the largest enclosures?

I think London had meerkat in their giraffe Paddock for a while. Probably enough concrete to the moat at the front though

Coombe Martin (also UK) has a huge enclosure for their mob, but I didn't bother looking as it was a meerkat enclosure! ;)
