The discovery of a massive new sauropod from Patagonia, Dreadnoughtus schrani, has been announced. The authors claim that it may have been the largest known terrestrial animal found to this point. It lived sometime in the late Cretaceous between 84-66 million years ago; apparently they are still trying to figure the exact dates out.
