This is a thread for people to record their memories of the great Asian Elephant Siam (1946-1997) who lived at the zoo and who is now on display at the Grand Gallerie de l'Evolution. I'm a huge fan of his so I thought it'd be appropriate for others to share their experiences seeing him whether at the zoo, at the Grand Gallerie or if we're really lucky before he came to Paris.
