Closed Messed up gallery, can't delete the pics! Help!

I've deleted the duplicate owl photo, and left the aardvark photo.

There is actually a clean-up routine I can run, which rebuilds missing thumbnails and fixes most of these problems.

I'm running it now - takes a while to search through and check recently uploaded photos.

Seems to have worked, although it has also undeleted a lot of duplicate photographs I dealt with yesterday!

Still, not too hard to deal with them again.

I have deleted those. It is curious because they definitely weren't showing up the other day!!

I had the same thing when I accidentally uploaded duplicates (for the same reason): the duplicates didn't show up until the next day I think.

I think that failed bulk-upload photos are saved in the archive, and come up automatically for view when next photo(s) is uploaded by this user sooner or later.

Tried to upload 12 photos taken at Zoo Pilsen, after adding descriptions I got a plain white page and now only the very first photo is shown duplicated twice ...

I'm trying to upload some photos to the Jerez zoo gallery but having some problems. When I upload a number of photos and press submit it only uploads one photo to the gallery with a thumbnail with a question mark and when i try to re-upload photos it does it again and again!

How many photos were you trying to upload at once?

I think the system has been running out of memory when people try to upload lots of photos at once.

I've found a setting which was limiting the memory available to the photo gallery (it shouldn't have been!!), which I'm hoping will help problems for now - but it still needs to be monitored.
