Entirely by luck I discovered that this new collection opened last month! It is a one acre site and seems to be mainly a petting zoo with exotics but there are some interesting creatures on show including Arctic Foxes, Striped Skunk and Raccoons (one of which is albino). The emphasis seems to be very much on offering close encounters with small, friendlier animals to give something different from the typical zoo experience, and they offer some very reasonably priced 'Animal Experience' packages.
Obviously its early days and the zoo is still very much a work in progress but could be one to watch... I'm particularly impressed that they have Arctic Foxes which were quite a rarity only a few years ago in the UK!
