There is currently a petition wandering over the web which is asking for contributions / participation in the hearings in southern MidWest States on USFWS policy on reintroduction of the Mexican wolf.
Mind: it remains a critically endangered species and the sustainability of the project is constantly endangered by illegal shootings and taking out members / entire packs out of the ecosystem again. This at a time when we can only say there is a very small population in the wild anyway. I find that rather curious and not in line with any species conservation plan.
Well, I dunno what you all think across the Atlantic on this?
Would be very interested though!
