Minecraft Zoo Building

I've long wanted to build a zoo in Minecraft using a range of animal mods. There was some discussion in another thread Wild World Resort - A zoo created in Minecraft by @JezP100 about their zoo, but I've started building my own zoo so I thought I'd create a thread to post some pictures without hijacking their Minecraft zoo project.

Also feel free to use this thread about any other Minecraft zoo building that you might have done.

Here are a few overview images of what I've built so far which I've annotated.

I've built an entrance area, a reptile house, and finished a large Australia section.

This is an in-game map which I've added some labels to.

This is the Australia Section. I've used mods that add all of the indicated species.

A few pictures from the entrance area and reptile house.

Amphibian enclosures, similar to most enclosures on the ground floor:

Upper floor of the reptile house with turtles, tortoises, iguanas, and Komodo dragons:

View from the upper floor down to the atrium that extends across both floors. Mainly a large Black Caiman enclosure and part of the Sulcata enclosure2024-12-25_21.52.56.png

Typical enclosures for smaller lizards and snakes. Examples for blue-tongued and fire skinks:

Entry waterfowl area, with reptile house behind, and hummingbird house to the left and Galapagos Giant Tortoise paddock in front of the reptile house.2024-12-25_21.51.56.png

And final picture for now, the entry area (with a rail access from several nearby villages), map, gift shop, waterfowl, hummingbird building, reptile house with Galapagos giant tortoise paddock, and shoebill house and the start of the Australia section to the right.
