Missing vulture could pose threat in Scottish skies

What a load of scare-mongering. There are large birds all over the world. California condors are being actively released and encouraged in the West USA, they are considerably larger and I imagine that air traffic over California exceeds that over Scotland many times.
 
I agree that to put out warnings over a vulture says more re. the general public perception of wildlife (beyond our control) than a real imminent danger in the airwaves. ;)
 
the owner of this bird is on the falcorey forum am on and its not even been sighted since it was lost

the reposts have come in from as far from one another as berwick, carlisle, uddingston, bannockburn, kinkardine and even on e from the east coast of ireland (not beyond the relms of possibilities for this species). the most solid reports we in stirlingshire area

if anyones in these areas to have a look out
