Mixed specie's enclosure with Nasua

Dear all,
I would like to know (and if possible get pictures) if it is possible to mix Nasua nasua (Coati) with others animals. Does zoos tryed to mix coati with Cebus or Squirrel monkey?

I know there is one zoo in the UK where they have coati mixed with racoon (i think it is Beale, im not sure though, there are photos of the mix in the gallery)
 
From the top of my head, the only mix i've seen coati in was with Andean bears (Antwerp, and i think Amsterdam as well).

Chester had and may still have Coatis with Spectacled Bears, Jersey have them with Black Howler Monkeys
 
in Bestzoo (Netherlands) the Coati's are mixed with tufted capuchin monkeys.

In Vienna zoo red coati's and white nosed coati's were mixed with each other.

I also wouldn't be surprised if a zoo mixes coati with peccaries (maybe Tiergarten Hellbrunn does, but I don't remember)
 
I have seen coatis with brown capuchin monkeys on moated islands at Buenos Aires Zoo, Argentina and at parque de las Leyendas in Lima Peru. It seems to work. The islands are large.
 
Thank you for your messages. I also read on websites that capuchin could be host with Nasua sp. I also saw on youtube a video of Nasua and Saimiri playing (probably pet's animals).
I work in a zoo (Jardin Zoologique Tropical, Jardin d'Oiseaux Tropicaux, La Londe-les-Maures, France) and we have a 900 meter square area of oak forest that we would like to encircle with a electric fence. The first idea is the keep in a unisex of Nasua nasua (probably 5 or 6 females). But maybe this enclosure will be "too large" for our visitors because it is like a "jungle". So add monkey to this coati group will create for sure more live. But I dont want to do a try and get problem with predation from coati to monkeys. Any advice is welcome.
 
Chester's coatis are an all female group and are sometimes difficult to see in the large bear enclosure.
 
Salzburg did keep coatis together with peccaries, but not any longer. Vienna still keeps two Nasua species together.
Zurich Zoo also keeps coatis together with Spectacled Bears, and Frankfurt is planning to follow Jersey's example in regard to the howler monkey/coati/Spec bear mix.

With capuchin monkeys the problem is the other way around. Capuchins are among the most intelligent monkeys and it is well known that they sometimes hunt and eat baby coatis (if you search Cebus+Nasua+predation on google scholar and you will get many results). A female coati usually try to isolate itself and make a nest when it is about to give birth. If it was me managing an exhibit with both capuchin monkeys and coatis I would keep female coatis and their babies isolated for some time.

Yes I read that coati are predated by Cebus. But in our case Coatis are not a breeding group. We plan to keep 5 females together with others monkeys as Capuchin (Cebus apella apella) or Squirrel monkey (Saimiri sciureus sciureus). Monkey group should be non breeding group (males).

that's really interesting. I wouldn't have ever thought that of capuchins. This is exactly the sort of thing that I love about Zoochat! :)
