Monte Casino Bird Gardens

Monte Casino Bird Gardens is a 3 Acre, multi-million Bird Park owned by Tsogo Sun the 9th richest company in South Africa. The Park opened in 2000 with MonteCasino Mall. It's currently the only place in Africa with Keas,Cassowaries, Alligator Snapping Turtles and Sandhill Cranes.
It's one of two places in South Africa with Axolotls. It's home to the oldest Anaconda in captivity in the world named Annie.

Some of the Main Attraction is the large Walk Through Aviary, Flaming Café and a Bird Show.

I absolutely have to agree! It is one of the prettiest zoos I have ever visited architecture wise and hosts a plethora of rare amphibians, reptiles, mammals and of course birds! (Or at least for South African collections)

These include:
Kea
Southern Cassowary
Sandhill Crane
Palm Cockatoo
Blue-throated Macaw
Emerald Starling
Crowned Roller
And many many more!
