Tropical World Morelet crocodiles at Tropical world

Will be interesting to see where they put them,within the place personnaly I would put them in the swamp area as they have plenty of pools that they could convert to make a pretty good enclosure for them when they get a bit bigger!!
 
Wingham Wildlife Park in Kent - not far from Howletts - has also received 3 young Morelet crocodiles this year . They have had a change of owners recently and a lot of new species - particularly primates and reptiles - have arrived .
 
This is great news. I'll get myself down there as soon as I can to have a look. Photos will definitely follow.
 
I suppose before long the Cotswold breeding would require an influx of new founder stock in order to be able to initiate another conservation breeding program. In Mexican zoos plenty of candidates ... and I seem vaguely to remember that Schoenbrunn Zoo, Wien maintains and breeds too (they would have had a specially built Tropical House for them). :)
