Most represented countries in zoos

If we assign all terrestrial animal (sub)species kept in zoos to their native countries from where they naturally originate, probably on top of the list would come several countries from Africa, Asia and South America, from where most of the terrestrial species kept in zoos originate/are naturaly distributed.

If we assign (or if we trace back to their native countries) ABC species and other species, kept in zoos to their native countries from where they originate, the most represented countries in zoos world-wide (or world-wide except Australia) (countries that has most wild animal ambassadors in zoos) would be (at least to my estimation, although, not fully objective):

-Kenya (Rothschilds, reticulated, Massai giraffe, African bush elephant, Eastern black rhino, Northern white rhino, African leopard, grant zebra, Grevys zebra, lion, cheetah, snoebill, ....Add to the list?)

-Tanzania (Massai giraffe, African bush elephant, Eastern black rhinoceros, African leopard, grant zebra, lion, cheetah, Eastern chimpanzee, ....Add to the list? "Tanzanian wild animals not distributed in Kenya")

-Indonesia (Bornean & Sumatran orangutan, Sumatran tiger, Asian elephant/Sumatran/Javan, Malayan tapir, siamang, Komodo dragon, Javan leopard, Javan lutung, Bali mynah, white-stripped dorcopsis....Add to the list?)

-Malaysia (Bornean orangutan, Malayan tiger, Asian elephant/Malaysian/Bornean pigmy, Malayan tapir, siamang, Indochinese clouded leopard, dusky langur,....?)

-DR Congo (Western lowland gorilla, central chimpanzee, bonobo, okapi, mandril, African leopard, dwarf crocodiles, Congo peafowl, forest elephant....?)

-Brazil (Jaguar, ocelot, black and white howler monkey, red howler monkey, Brazilian tapir, giant anteater, golden lion tamarin, Hyacinth macaw, various capuchin and spider monkeys.... Add to the list?)

Closely followed by:
-South Africa
-Thailand
-Uganda
-Colombia
-Madagascar,
-India
-Venezuela? Australia? and what other countries?
-Maybe even US-of-America in particular with its native reptiles and birds?

For Australian zoos, Australia would also top the list that has the most of the wild animal ambassadors in Australian zoos themselves.

"Countries that gave most of the animals in the zoos". "I give this title to Kenya, Indonesia, DR Congo, Tanzania, Malaysia and Brazil in the first row"

Interesting?

For sure. I believe African and South Asian countries are overrepresented because that’s where the majority of charismatic zoo megafauna comes from, and Brazil and perhaps to a lesser extent other countries in the Neotropics because that’s where many birds, herps, and invertebrates popular in zoos come from.
