Bristol Zoo (Closed) Moti the lioness dies.

What a great shame :( just as we were putting the Europe wide list together. She is survived by 0:2 living in Poland and Jeruselum. Her son died a few years ago.

The article says they want another female as a mate for Kamal but given that he is so well represented already I think they may just get another old lady as a companion for his final years.

This is also the second mate for kamal to die within 3 years. The other being Khari who died from kidney failure in December 2007. :(
 
Poor Moti, this is a great shame. Only saw her on Monday, and this is not yet to sink in.

A sad sad story
I wish i could have seen Moti in the flesh, having heared storys about such a beutiful animal.
