Following up on the article re: mountain lion sightings in Los Angeles that I posted a couple days ago, sadly a lion was hit by a car crossing the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles. This is the freeway that connects the Los Angeles Basin with the San Fernando Valley. Very sad that this individual was hit, but good to know that we still have wild big cats slinking around LA.
