must visit Zoo's in Europe and why

Hi guys,
I am traveling Europe for around 6 months this year and wondering what Zoos are a must see and the reasons why. Any ideas would be great, thanks!:)
 
Are you interested in any particular species or just animals in general?

Could help to push you to the right places. :)
 
LE PARC DES FELINS (Nesles, France)
reason - best cat collection on the planet (and huge, natural enclosures)

CHESTER ZOO (Chester, England)
reason - well rounded collection in exhibits that are better than most in the UK
