I will be setting off on a tour of some of the UK zoo's this summer my list to visit so far will definitly include the following
Twycross
Blackpool
Bristol
Newquay
Dartmoor
Paignton
Slimbridge
Port Lympe
Edinburgh
West Midlands Safari
Birmingham Nature Centre
Dudley Zoo
Hagley Falconary Centre

I would like to know what are the best points about the zoos above and what I should look out for?

After we've completed the trip I will put a reveiw on here
 
bets thigns to look out for:

Bristol:
- brilliant night house of a huge variety of unsual species (including aye-aye, kangaroo rat, sugar glider)
- seal and penguin coasts is an amazing exhibit
- Aquarium - a wonderful variety of species
- the gardens - Bristol is one of the prettiest zoos out there

Newquay:
- a whole host of unusual species such as: paca, narrow striped mongoose, carpathian lynx, kinkajou, black wildebeast, hoffmanns sloth, owstons palm civet,

West midlands safari park:
- some lovely 'charismatic' species such as tiger, elephants, lions etc
- largest pod of hippo's in the UK
- a small but nice nocturnal house including ayeaye

Birmingham nature centre:
- a nice lynx enclosure,
- some small nice houses such as a rodent house, reptile house, aquarium etc
- some interetsing species, including beaver (apparently) waldrapp ibis, wildcats and mouflon.
