For the last 2 weeks I have been at Singapore and Malaysia (Borneo). I went to Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari and S.E.A Aquarium in Singapore. And went to the Shangri-La Rasa-Ria Resort to see the wildlife in Malaysia (Borneo). All of which were amazing!!!
I witnessed many spectacular things at the Rasa-Ria Resort. The orang-utan feeding was fantastic, 2 male orphaned orangs climbed through the 64 acre reserve to get to the feeding. While they were eating a large group of long-tailed macaques tried to steal their food resulting in two very upset orang-utans.
They had 4 orang-utans at the reserve, 2 males and 2 females, all of which range from ages 2 to 5 years (we only ever got to see the males). They also had an un-declared baby proboscis monkey that was being cared for by the rangers (this baby was too small to live in the reserve and it is the only proboscis monkey in that area of Borneo).
The places at Singapore were better than ever. My favourite place to go to in the world, Night Safari, was one of my highlights of the trip. But I was very impressed by the small River Safari (the pandas were awesome). The zoo was packed (as always). But other from that very beautiful and magical.
My time in South-East Asia was an experience I'll never forget!
p.s feel free to ask me questions.
