south lakes wild animal park visit 2010,

the first enclosure you see is the 2 pygmy hippo's and mandrill they seemed to get on fine, although one of the hippo's had a nasty cut, then came the reindeer and a new born calf

then you come onto the snake's the 2 burmese python were both snoozing:(and the female boa contrictor looked a bit wary.

i came across the south america enclosure next featuring the brown capuchin, capybara, brazilian tapir, asian short clawed otter and snoopy, alice and zamora the spectalced bear across from that was the giant otter "tupi" she was swimming happily in her rather large enclosure,
the african enclosure is rather big for just 3 species white rhino's(huubke, zimba, mazungo, nyala, tala, ntombi)and the giraffe's(dayo,bo,tibar, sillan, walda)and the baboon troop leaded by yorik the big male.

the lion's were sleeping as predicted and shikar the male has turned into a real lion since i saw him last:)

going round towards the primates no sign of the sloth's the lar gibbon's,howler monkey's,siamang's and spider monkey were all out,as was the african spurred tortoise

then came the fennec fox and humboldt penguin we saw about 20 of them and 2 were nesting the fennec fox enclosure looked deserted and needs updating, then came alisha and padang the breeding pair of sumatran tiger's next door to them is SAKA and bonita the jaguar's bonita is very small for 8months and saka is very big almost 1 year old.

then came the babirusa 3 of them infact,in 2 enclosure's a young male in with a female and another male

then came the lemur's and we saw the squirrel monkey's

in the aviary was hanas and mary the andean condor's and king vulture's and then was the alpacca and donkey's and mongoose
