N Scale Model ZOO

I have begun building an N Scale model train zoo. Except for Preiser and an occasional Merten, there seek to be very few N Scale animals or zoo enclosures. Everything seems to be HO gauge or larger. I cannot find any Zebras or monkees. Any ideas? Your assistance would be appreciated.

Why not re-paint a few Horses as Zebras as given the scale they would look close enough,cannot help you on the monkeys.

Will have a check through some of the suppliers I know in the trade in the UK,and see if they know of any,but like you say the HO scale is far better provided for in the types of animals you can get!
 
N SCALE ZOO ANIMALS

Thanks for the idea. Not sure my hand is steady enough to paint the tint stripes on the N scale horses, but I'll give it a try.

Any ideas on penguins and zoo enclosures/dioramas for N scale?
