Adelaide Zoo Name Change

Hi Guys for my Major studies in tourism i'm looking at the proposed name change of the Adelaide Zoo. I have made up a survey and if you could have a read and maybe answer the questions that woould be great! just post them in a reply :) For questions 3 and 4 just make the writing a different colour for the answer.

Pelzy, I strongly suggest you find somewhere else to get respondents for your survey. I don't know what level you're studying at, but even if it's just high school, using Zoochat will give you HIGHLY aberrant results. The people on this board, if they are not zoo professionals, have a specialised interest in zoos. Our answers are likely to vary greatly to the views of regular tourists who would be relevant to your project.

I do see where you are coming from although this isnt the only place im looking for results, I just want to see what peoples opinions are on this forum, I am handing them out also to the general public.

If you don't mind my asking, what level of education are you? Because if you're doing undergraduate or higher, your university would actually require you to undergo an ethical review before conducting any survey (it's stupid, I know, but unis like to cover their backsides legally). If you're a TAFE student that could also be the case, though it's probably less likely.

My suggestion is that rather than 'handing out' surveys, you simply ask people for one minute of their time and ask them verbally. You'll actually get more interesting and illuminating responses that way, but more importantly you'll get more people willing to do it.. Especially with questions three and four - let people choose their own words to describe what they associate with the proposed name.
 
Yeah good suggestion, im in year 12 and the survey wont play a massive role, dont even really need to hand the surveys up just need the information
