Nature conservation in Iran

When Iran is in the news, its normaly because of war, nucliare embargo's and other negative human-related problems. That the country also has a great flora and fauna is less well-known but no less then 30 national parks can be found in the country. Here a short article about 3 of them :

Most security personel anywhere are cultural dorks unfortunately, the Iran idiots are the ill fated Revolutionary Guards .....

Enough of this though what I have heard recently the PA Service remains in dire straits in part also due thanks to the international economic blockade. I remain mistified as to why despite opposing world views relations cannot be resolved by real diplomacy and political good will. The nature conservation movement in Iran would fare much better viz Asiatic cheetah, onager and Asian lion initiatives with Iranian counterparts which now most have stopped dead in their tracks now due to the ongoing international pariah state that has been thrown Iran's way.
